Recycled Plastic is Endless Fun with Green Toys (enter to win!)
We are very excited about Green Toys, a new line of recycled plastic toys that actually meets every item on our check list: good for the environment, safe for children, not manufactured in sweatshops, and really, really cool.
These sturdy toys will withstand whatever your little whirling dervish can dish out. I was really impressed by the strength and thickness of this plastic. But what we love is how eco-friendly Green Toys are. Green toys are made from recycled plastic, utilize minimal packaging materials, and every step of the manufacture occurs in California--saving the energy required for shipping toys from overseas.
Plus, even if you have a baby who puts everything in her mouth, no worries--these toys are all BPA-free and safe for contact with food.
These toys are just like the everyday household objects toddlers always want to grab--but far more durable. Green Toys is offering our readers the chance to win their Indoor Gardening Set, a wonderful opportunity to promote an inquisitive and nurturing spirit in your child. I'd like to have the whole collection for my child.
Check out Mamanista's Earth Day Guide for more eco-friendly picks and contests.

My favorite? The “Environmental Packaging -
Green Toys environmental mission even extends to our packaging. We strive to minimize packaging, and all of our boxes use as little material as possible. All Green Toys products are packaged in recycled corrugated boxes with no plastics, cellophane or twist-ties, and are 100% recyclable. So, not only are they earth-friendly and ready for your recycling bin, they are really easy to open for those little fingers just itching to get at the toys!!”

My favorite is the tea set. My 6 year old is torn between tea & garden though, lol. My fav thing is the Green Toys products are tested by nationally recognized, independent, third-party labs (located, yes, in the USA.) They contain no traceable amounts of Phthalates or BPA. They are also designed without any external coatings, eliminating the fear of lead paint. Even though they are all great reasons to buy!

WoW finally recycled toys! There such great color. I love the idea. What a great way to spare the land fills and have quality toys. so many things are made so cheaply so you end up buying more & hence throwing out more. The gardening set it great my daughter would love that. She autistic and is very concerned about the environment. I stopped taking her to the public park cause she would passionately yell at people about their pollution. lol She will love this ideal to. Excellent!

Debbie Criss comments:
I’m a recyclist. Have been for 10 years. Always love to hear what they make from my efforts. I thought they were all cute, but I guess since I love gardening the flower pot set. If everyone recycled it would be great. I have a 14 , 15, and a 20 year old sons at home. They do their share of contributing to the toys. They go thru a gallon of milk per day, which all are recycled. Please let me know what else is made from milk jugs.
thank you
