Win a Trendy and Practical Nursing Cover from Slurp & Burp
While breast may be best for baby, some mamas are reluctant to breastfeed because they aren't comfortable with breastfeeding in public and don't want to be stuck in their house for months. Stylish breastfeeding covers are a must-have for these mommies.
Shortly before Baby Mwah was born, I received a Slurp & Burp Breastfeeding Cover. This innovative, mom-invented breastfeeding accessory covers the breast without covering the baby. The Slurp & Burp allows moms to discreetly and comfortably nurse in public while maintaining eye contact with their babies.
The Slurp & Burp is a loop of layered cotton material that is worn like a sash over one shoulder of the mother and under her opposite arm, so there is no risk of the Slurp & Burp falling off while you are nursing. There is even a burp cloth sewn into the product, which makes burping a breeze. No more fumbling for burpcloths while baby drools on you! The Slurp & Burp easily folds into a small carrying case and fits into my diaper bag without taking up much room.
The Slurp & Burp is meant to be used with clothing that can be opened from the top such as a dress, wrap top, button down, etc. If you are nursing in a crew neck t-shirt or a similar top that needs to be pulled up from the bottom in order to nurse, you might prefer a traditional blanket in order to cover your stomach. But I found the Slurp & Burp works with about 90% of my clothing.
I own the Slurp & Burp in black. Since I wear a lot of black clothing, it blends right in with my outfits, and I love the pretty Burberry-esque grosgrain ribbon trim. But you can also buy the Slurp & Burp in colorful striped fabrics. There is even an organic option.
Win It:
To win a Slurp & Burp, visit www.slurpburp.com to read more about how this great breastfeeding accessory works and then leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEST on May 6th letting us know your favorite feature of this product.

This is nice for those summer babies or for those of us that live in hot areas! I love that I could use this and not a hot sticky blanket in the middle of the summer! Living in Arizona this would be much better convenient and cool for me to nurse in public, I love it that it allows for mommy and baby to be nice and cool while nursing, because it’s not bulky and huge, but it is still gives the mother enough privacy. This nursing cover is fabulous!!! I’m currently nusing my six month old and think this is a terrific idea. he can’t stand to be covered but I’m to modest to let it all hang out here in the South. We have a huge group of, as my husband calls them, the “Boob Moms”, who would love this. We’ve got over two hundred people on our Moms’ Board so I’ll post the website for everyone to check out. I agree with the comment from a mom in Arizona; here in Tennessee, it’s way too hot and humid in the summer to make the Hooter Hider practical for us…heat index when I was preggo last summer 112…argh!!!
I think this is the next generation after the Hooter Hider. Quite a refrehing design…my little one loves to see me while nursing.
Hooray, for new innovations!!!

Hi! I love this.
My baby is due May 30th! It’s a girl and we’re so excited…it’ll be our second child, my oldest is a little boy who will be 2 in July.
My favorite feature of the Slurp-and-Burp is how versatile it looks. My son *hated* having a blanket over his face while nursing so we ended up in the corner facing a wall for privacy when feeding in public. Now with him to keep up with this looks like a really simple and fun solution to that privacy problem.
I like the “sunset with white burp cloth” pattern best–cute and summery!
