Baby Diva loves her Tiny Love Musical Stack & Play. At first, she was not entirely sure what to do with her new toy. So, she did what any self-respecting baby would do–she tried to eat it.
After a couple of tries, however, she figured out that dropping the ball inside the elephant produces a fun tune and flashing lights.
The toy is well-made and colorful. The only downside is the ball may miss the musical “trigger” when baby tilts the toy towards her. Also, it is fairly easy for a baby to knock the toy over. However, the toy is sturdy enough to hold up to any abuse baby dishes out.
There are so many different ways to play with the components of this toy. As she gets older, she will be able to stack the soft rings in size order. In the meantime, Super Dad and Baby Diva take turns wearing the rings on their heads and plucking them off each other. The balls also make a cool rattling sound and Baby Diva likes to bang them together, developing a sense of rhythm.
Perhaps most importantly, it has an off switch. We at Mamanista believe that any toy manufacturer that makes a musical toy without including an off-switch should be locked in a room filled with said toy and several toddlers hopped up on sugar.
The Stack and Play from Tiny Love is fast becoming a family favorite over here. Baby Diva enjoys the positive, musical feedback, learning about cause and effect and giving Mama Luxe a few stolen minutes to brew some soothing tea.
