Here’s a way to save money, time, and energy!
When I was a city dweller, I loved services like Peapod: fresh food direct to your doorstep, even when you do not have the time or energy for a big shopping trip.
Then, I had Baby Diva in suburban exile while Captain Dad was away and I longed for the days of delivery. For harried parents, Amazon Grocery comes to the rescue. They have great prices on household items, canned goods, personal care, and other non-perishables.
You can use Amazon’s new Subscribe and Save feature to make sure your pantry is always filled with the essentials, while getting even better deals. Sign-up, manage your list online, and make sure you never run-out of toilet paper again.
With the basics taken care of automatically, you can breeze through your favorite supermarket, specialty store, or even butcher’s shop, to pick up meat, produce, and other fresh supplies. Jump on the express line and you are done–before there is even time for a tantrum!
During the harvest months, it is a delight to stroll through a farmer’s market in search of fresh ingredients for that night’s meal. As enjoyable as it is to select ripe produce off a local stand, it is a nightmare to drag a toddler (or more) through your nearest Walmart or Stop and Shop as you compare pricing on various brands and sizes of paper towels.
Stock up on the basics, like diapers, shampoo, and dried pasta, at Amazon Grocery and then you’ll have more time for blueberry picking…or whatever it is your family enjoys most!
