If I need to remember to pick something up or take something with me (like a pie for the potluck party I’m attending), I’ll often leave myself a little note. A reminder note isn’t useful if you don’t see it, and that’s why my preferred note-stashing location is my door. A post-it note stuck to the door at eye level is perfect. You just can’t miss it.
The only problems: post-it notes have a tendency to fall off the door if someone else leaves the house before you do. And there isn’t enough room on a post-it for a full shopping list.
In my opinion, the best reminder product on the market is the Do Not Forget Door Hanger. They are big enough for a complete shopping list, and they won’t fall off the door. For $10, you’ll get two packs of 50 notes. Keep them both, or give one to a friend. Available at UncommonGoods.
