Call me out of touch, but I must admit I haven’t been digging the whole Crocs fad. Several years ago when Crocs first appeared on the scene, my fashionista friend proudly showed off her “traffic cone orange” pair. Although I have to admit that she is generally an early adopter of the hippest trends, I must say it was with great satisfaction that this particular shoe seemed to be a misstep.
Turns out she wasn’t wrong this time, either–just a few years early. In the last two years, Crocs have been taking a bite out of the market.
Yet, even after hearing time and time again about how comfy and odor-resistant Crocs are, I still could not bring myself to buy a pair.
Crocs Alice Mary Janes may just change all of that.
I’m a big fan of Mary Jane shoes in general because they can be paired with jeans, a skirt, or even a casual dress. In the BC (Before Child) Era, I always wore heels, but now flats work better for carrying around my baby–and Mary Janes still look neat and stylish even without the lift.
Crocs – Alice Mary Janes from Shoes.com ($34.99), or Crocs Alice Mary Janes from Shoemall ($34.95 – currently out of stock in black) or Crocs Alice Mary Janes from Piperlime ($35), all with free standard shipping and Piperlime has free returns, too.
