We’re asking you to think pink and shop pink during October because this month is national breast cancer awareness month.
We love when we can shop for a cause, so here are some ideas for items that will support breast cancer research and foundations.

Target Goes Pink
Stop by Target and search “Breast Cancer Awareness” and you’ll see that this retail giant that made style affordable also has a heart. It is hard to choose just one item, but on my wish list are the tool kit (a girl should know how to use her tools – $29.99), kitchen aid stand mixer (life is too short to eat bad food – $299.99), pink ribbon robe (soft and comfy – $49.99), and assorted gardening tools (missing my herb garden). They even have post-it notes ($9.99) so no one forgets to get a mammogram. Oh, and there’s always that amazing Pink Dyson. |
Limited Edition Pink Baby Jogger
Babies love their mommies and they want them to be around for a long time. This Pink Baby Jogger will help you get a little exercise into your day, while baby enjoys a stylish ride with a message. A portion of the proceeds from each stroller is going directly to the Virginia Commonwealth University’s Massey Cancer Center. BUY: This one has been selling out all over the ‘net, but you can still get the Baby Jogger Limited Edition City Single stroller Pink at Jogging Strollers ($349). |
The Tunes Company Breast Cancer Awareness Burnout Tee
A little steep for a t-shirt, but the design is hot and it is for a good cause–a portion of sales will go to the Susan G Komen Foundation. If you like to wear your heart on your sleeve (and your ribbon on your chest), and you always have the hippest maternity wear, check out this tee. BUY: This Pink Ribbon Tee ($95) is from a pea in the pod. |
Breast Cancer PINK Camouflage Tank
Join the fight against breast cancer and look fabulous, too. Camouflage is a hot way to show you are on the winning side. 25% of the proceeds from the sale of this tank will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Special Edition Breast Cancer PINK Camouflage Tank ($42) from Shopbop |
We’ll add more picks as we hear about them! We’d also like to celebrate two bloggers we know–mod*mom, one of the blogosphere’s grooviest survivors, and WHYMommy, who is battling inflammatory breast cancer. Go visit them today.
