Doesn’t every little child like to look through mom’s bag? Of course, there’s the important business papers that need crumpling, the cell phone that needs breaking, and the lipstick that needs smearing.
My Mommy’s Tote from Workman allow kiddo the fun of purse exploration with less mess.
Part book, part toy, you can cuddle up and read together about mom’s adventures or allow your kid to push, pull, and spin the over 75 different objects independently.
This mom is everymom. She tries hard to be a great mom, wife, and businesswoman, balancing busy schedules, to-do lists a mile long, and keeping life fun for herself and her family. She’s got a passport, leopard print pumps (which she presumably does not wear on those long walks with her kids), and at least a thousand cookie recipes–now if only she could solve the mystery of the missing red sock. The references to “perfect mom” are tongue-in-cheek, but clearly her family thinks she is the motherhood ideal.
My baby really likes pulling out the laptop and pretending to type and carrying the bag around looking oh-so-important. I do wish that the child who narrates the contents of the tote liked art museums–but I’m sure she’ll come around. And, most importantly, the tote actually keeps my baby occupied and interacting with a book on her own.
You probably won’t be able to keep your little private investigator completely out of your things, but my toddler loves rifling through My Mommy’s Tote.
