Gerber’s “Start Healthy, Stay Healthy” campaign aims to educate parents about the importance of establishing good eating habits in children from birth to preschool.
Gerber’s recent Feeding Infants and Toddlers Study (FITS) revealed that as many as 25% of children did not consume a single fruit or vegetable serving on a given day. And we are all too familiar with the stats on childhood obesity in the US. So it’s a good thing that Gerber is providing advice and tips to parents who want to improve their family’s nutrition and eating habits.
To help, Gerber is encouraging mothers to take the Start Healthy, Stay Healthy pledge. More than 13,000 moms have taken a pledge to improve their family’s eating habits so far! You can create your own pledge, by going here or get inspired by watching some mom-created content on the Start Healthy, Stay Healthy YouTube channel.
To help spread the word about this campaign, Gerber is giving away a Gerber diaper bag backpack filled with a teddy bear and recipe tin to one Mamanista reader. To enter this giveaway, visit Start Healthy, Stay Healthy and share your pledge in the comments section below by 11:59pm EST February 14, 2009. (US residents only)
