Schoolhouse Rock: Earth introduces children to ecology and encourages kids to do their part to preserve scarce resources.

With all-new tracks by the original creators and favorite vocal artists, Schoolhouse Rock: Earth preserves the look and feel of the 1970s and 1980s cartoons. While I am partial to the classics, my daughter really enjoyed the DVD. She is a fan of the polar bears, whose story links the eco-conscious music videos together.

My favorite is The Rainforest, a funky tapestry of indigenous motifs, Latin and African rhythms, natural sounds, and rock beats.

Junior environmentalists will be bopping along and learning, Schoolhouse Rock style.
