Spring has sprung but I’m still feeling a bit drab. One of the easiest ways to kick the Winter Blahs is to add a splash of color to your wardrobe.
I grew up in New York and my default color is black. Call me clothing color phobic. I can create a harmonious palette for any room, painting, or make-up look, but hand me some cash and send me clothes shopping and I’ll be toting a black hole of fabric in my bags.
So, I was thrilled when Lee sent me a pair of their Colorwashed Khakis (also available in capris) in Riviera Blue. Paired with a white or beige top, you have a lovely, fresh, almost nautical look. The pants come in a range of sun-lit hues. Bring luck with jewel tone jade, popular this spring, or make a bold statement with vivid strawberry.
But how do they fit a (recently post-pregnancy) body? Amazingly well!
The waist hits at just the right spot and the fabric has just the right amount of give to smooth your silhouette. Casual, and yet polished, these pants are perfect for a family picnic or dinner out at a resort. I feel so stylish and comfortable, I wore these chic pants to Easter dinner at my mother-in-law’s place. Even though I was juggling an infant and a toddler, the pants stayed crisp and neat.
Freshen your Spring wardrobe with a wash of Lee color and take the color plunge.
