Darling little Maddie. You were taken from this world much too soon. I wish I could play with you and cuddle you and know you for the sweet little girl you are. More than that, I wish I could hand you to your mommy and daddy so they could hold you once more and forever.
I cannot imagine the burden of their sorrow at losing you.
Since my wish is not to be granted in this lifetime, I will wish instead that your legacy will be one of hope for other children.
The Spohr family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, we donate to March of Dimes in Maddie’s memory. The March of Dimes works to ensure mothers have healthy, full-term pregnancies.
At Mamanista, we usually donate most of our profits and this month 10% of our site income will go to March of Dimes in Maddie’s memory (in case it is a slow month, we will make the donation at least $100).
