I Rescue Rover provides a great way to involve kids in supporting animal rescues. My son was more than excited to wear a shirt with one of his favorite animals on it…a shark.
Made of 100% jersey cotton, this shirt was not only breathable but I also found the sizing to be consistent with other toddler clothing. Not too big and not too small.
The flexibility of the cotton made it easy to pull over his head which was a real concern of mind. I have often bought toddler shirts that have no give in the neckline and make it a struggle to pull over his head.
After test driving this shirt for a day we moved on to our next challenge…the wash. I knew that this would either make or break the product. I am happy to report that this shirt had minimal shrinking and stayed true to its beautiful blue color.
With their stylized silhouettes, my son has no problem identifying any of the animals on the shirts. I also love the fact that while they use bright colors, they keep true to the animals’ realistic appearance, rather than presenting them in a cartoony manner.
I highly recommend this for any kid, or adult, who loves animals. I can’t seem to wash this shirt enough as my son is now always asking to wear the “shark shirt.”
