My daughter is obsessed with Schleich figurines. Her Papa first started bringing home families of jungle animals and woodland critters. Then, my daughter discovered the elves of Bayala and became a collector.
She spends hours arranging and rearranging her elves in various scenes, narrating their adventures. Each of the figures has a fascinating back story for older collectors, though my daughter mostly makes up her own.
I love the detail on these beautiful figurines–the body art, the glittering wings, and the jewelry. And I appreciate how relatively affordable they are.
In addition to a standing Feya, a unicorn, and a pegasus, the newly released figurines include a trio of elves who come with animal companions: Marween, Florindel, and Lindariel.
The tenderness between these pairs is sure to charm any young animal lover.
The fantasy of Bayala appeals to a child’s sense of wonder and speaks of the limitless possibilities of imagination.
