We are big Thomas the Tank Engine fans in our house. When we originally heard that he would be making an appearance at The Strasburg Railroad, a local historical railroad station and museum, we knew we had to be there.
So this Past Sunday, we put on our imaginary conductor hats and went to meet our good friend Thomas (finally!) as part of the “Day Out With Thomas” tour. There were special play areas set up, refreshments, photo opportunities, and plenty of other Thomas-themed activities. The best part though? Taking a ride on Thomas himself. My son was gleeful to be riding on such a famous train. The day was exciting for the whole family. I’d highly recommend the event if Thomas makes a stop in your town.
