The poseable wooden and cloth animal figurines from Anamalz captivate my children for hours. We’ve enjoyed our lion and crocodile and were thrilled when Anamalz sent us two creatures from their new prehistoric line.
With a few broad design strokes, each figurine captures the essence of the creature it represents. The Anamalz clearly represent a particular type of animal but leave plenty of room for a child’s imagination. These open-ended figurines are a perfect plaything.
I also appreciate the use of wood and textile materials that add a nice tactile element to the toys. You just want to reach out and touch these Anamalz.
These new prehistoric Anamalz are no exception–each dinosaur is lots of fun to pose and use in interactive, imaginative play. Anamalz sent us two dinosaurs so my two dino-obsessed children can interact using the dinosaurs and chatter away what they know about each.
Some of the dinosaurs, like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, will be instantly recognizable, even to parents. Others, like the Torosaurus or the Parasaurolophus, will send most of us off to Google (or the nearest kindergartner) to learn more.
For parents who prefer wooden toys and want to fill their child’s dino-craving, the prehistoric line is the perfect addition to Anamalz.
