Yes, it is that time of year again!
When we are dressing turkeys, cleaning houses for out-of-town guests, or making side dishes, we are preparing for the Holiday Shopping Season! It is a busy and hectic time of year, one that can really be overwhelming if you are unprepared! I’ve spent many holidays overwhelmed and frustrated, so I’ve done my best to learn from past year’s mistakes. I find that it helps to think ahead and shop throughout the year, so that I am not rushing to grab whatever is left on the shelves a few days before a celebration. Better yet? Make a list! Write down all the people you need to buy for, what gifts you’d like to get them, and GO!
Recently, I’ve found a fantastic way to ease the burden of holiday shopping: eBay. Yes! eBay! We often think of eBay as
“that site you use to bid on items that other people post,” but eBay has come so far since it’s inception. eBay is now a thriving online market place where you can browse your favorite brands to find and purchase exactly what you are looking for.
Here is my Holiday Shopping List (thanks to eBay):
1. Mom: Keurig 10 Cup Coffee Maker
2. Dad: TaylorMade Driver
3. Mother-in-law: Kate Spade Purse
4. Babysitter: Juicy Couture Perfume
5. My 4-year old son: Trackmaster Holiday Thomas Winter Wonderland Set
6. My 18-month old son: Fisher Price Master Moves Mickey Mouse
7. Brother: Casio G Shock Watch
8. Sister-in-law: Tory Burch Flats
9. Husband: Apple iPad Mini
10. My 13-year old goddaughter: Ugg Boots
Easy and simple. I can order items right off the eBay website. If you suddenly find a gift inspiration but you are no where near your laptop, no worries. The eBay mobile app helps you shop anytime, anywhere. Just peruse the website on your phone and buy items with the click of a button. You can also post items for bidding from the mobile app as well (a great way to make some holiday spending money!).
