My young boys go nuts over the fun new Peppa Pig products we’ve been trying out this year. The toys and books are based on an animated television show, originating in the UK, called Peppa Pig which follows the life and adventures of the very loveable piggy, Peppa, and her brother George, Mommy Pig and Daddy Pig.
The show itself airs on Nick Jr. where kids can watch the cute and clever antics of all the characters. DVDs of the show can also be purchased for the many fans who want to watch the episodes over and over.
This fall, we received three new products that are now available at Toys “R” Us. The first was Bedtime Peppa, a plush doll by Fisher Price that sings lullaby songs, oinks and plays a counting sheep game.
The second item we received was the Muddy Puddles Bathtime Peppa by Fisher Price which features a Peppa figure, a George squirter, a washing brush and a bathtub storage container. My kids love making Peppa’s muddy spots magically disappear in warm water.
The third item was a great book called Peppa Pig and the Busy Day at School by Candlewick Press which follows the adventures of Peppa and friends at school as they learn numbers, letters and enjoy Special Talent Time.
My boys love the whole Peppa adventure – show, toys, books. Peppa Pig is doing a wonderful job of reaching children where they are and at the level they need to grow.
