We’re a busy family. Isn’t everyone, these days? In between running my own business and volunteering, I take care of my four children, ages 7 and under (including the newborn who joined the team this November).
So, I am teaming up with Kellogg’s this winter to learn about getting off to a great start. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting tips from Team Kellogg’s and sharing how these valuable nuggets of advice help my family.
Sometimes it seems like we never stop! The two eldest have to get on the bus in the morning. Then, the kindergartener comes home for lunch. We juggle his homework and activities with his younger brothers’ naps and we all have to be waiting at the bus stop for big sister a few hours later. Afterwards, we have her homework, activities, play dates, and practices. Coordinating everyone’s schedules can sometimes mean activities run into the evening.
Even once the kids are in bed, my husband and I have to press the reset button and get everything ready to go again for another day, cleaning and lining up all the backpacks, uniforms, and books, and filling up lunchboxes, snack packs, and water bottles. That’s why I love this tip from Kellogg’s: cereal is not just for breakfast–it also makes for a great after-dinner snack!
I’ll be sharing more Tips for a Great Start with Team Kellogg’s this winter and I can’t wait to hear more about how you balance your own busy days!
