I have a ton of apps on my phone and admit that I love mindless games. I have enough stress in my life that while waiting in line, or for an appointment, I just want to have fun. And fun is exactly what Talking Tom Bubble Shooter, the new app from Outfit7, is.
Talking Tom Bubble Shooter allows you to play solo, or go head-to-head for double bubble trouble in skill tournaments. I’ve seen a few of these bubble shooter games on the market, and this one seems like one of the most sophisticated and enables greater control, speed and accuracy while aiming bubbles. It appears to be a good fit for both the casual player and the competitive spirit. (I’d like to think of myself as both.)
Some of the apps challengers have really funny names. For example, “Silent But Deadly…” I was waiting for fart sounds which didn’t happen. I fully admit that I was disappointed, and will be submitting the upgrade idea directly to Outfit7.
I played for a couple of hours and got to level 24. I thought I was doing really well and was patting myself on the back until I saw there there are more than 100 levels. Way to burst my bubble Tom! But I had fun and will definitely keep playing nonetheless.
My only issues about this app, is the complaint I have for all free apps where they ask you to buy “gems” to unlock things, or earn stickers, levels, or to continue to play, etc. However, Talking Tom Bubble Shooter does allow you to earn things via watching videos or downloading other games, so at least you don’t have to buy the “Best Value” gem package for $39.99 – YIKES! (Gem packages start at $1.99 and go up to $39.99.) To keep playing I actually downloaded the Talking Tom Jetski app which is also a ton of fun.
I give Talking Tom Bubble Shooter a digital thumbs up. I’m gonna pop until I drop.
