If you grew up watching sitcom’s in the 90’s through 2000’s you no doubt watched shows like Full House, Step by Step, and 7th Heaven. Skip to (many) years later, even as an adult, those favorite 90’s childhood stars resonate in your mind and take you back to your childhood, don’t they? We had an amazing opportunity over the weekend to meet some of our absolutely favorite childhood stars, Jodie Sweetin (Full House), Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven) and Christine Lakin (Step By Step)!

I cannot imagine there is a single 90’s kid who as an adult doesn’t have those happy memories of not just these shows, but of the era in general. Let’s face it, times have definitely changed since then! Good times, great memories for so many. I love that shows like Full House, 7th Heaven and Step by Step live on in syndication and on DVD, because even now, my generation of kids (ranging between 11 and late teens) actually enjoy going back and watching these shows!
We had a blast this weekend getting to ask these fab gals some questions, taking some photos with them, and even getting their autographs. You could actually feel their amazing chemistry as they each talked about the Hollywood Darlings show and about their diverse experiences in the industry over the years. They were clearly having a lot of fun with each other and after watching Hollywood Darlings, it is easy to see why that same camaraderie is true and real in the show itself.
As a bonus to getting to meet some of our favorite 90’s stars – we got a full and fabulous makeover in a Hollywood style tour bus. I have to say, while I am not generally one to pamper myself like this, it was a ton of fun. And it was especially fun for the younger girls who really seemed to enjoy the “stardom” and everything that came along with it.
I don’t know about you – but I am pretty excited about Season 2! You can check out Season 2, which kicked off on April 18th, of Hollywood Darlings on PopTV, Wednesdays at 8 PM EST. To find your local channel, simply head to http://poptv.com/ and enter your zip code. And, if you have not seen Season 1 yet, it is a MUST see! You can check out all of Season 1 on Amazon – but do it now so you are ready to put the kids to bed and indulge in Season 2!
