My girl is addicted to hair accessories. She chooses carefully every morning and then heads over to the mirror to primp.
Within a few hours, unfortunately sometimes even minutes, the hair clip has slipped and then I have to chase her around all day, pinning the hair out of her eyes.
We’ve tried a lot of “no slip” clips and they will sort of work until the velcro starts to peel off but Bugalug is different.
Bugalug uses a silicone gel grip that keeps barrettes in place. Even better, the barrettes don’t snag or pull hair when you remove them.
They really do not skimp on quality, fully lining the clip with ribbon. These clips are also glueless, so if you accidentally drop them in the wash, which happens a lot around here, they’ll still look great. And I really appreciate that these clips are handmade by stay at home Canadian moms.
The patterns are hip, with lots of mod, retro graphic patterns and fun, vivid colors. The simplicity of these clips means that older girls will wear them, too. Right now, my little girl also favors bows and flowers, though, so I just wish Bugalug made a few more ornamented styles. If they did, I would need to take out stock in Bugalug and buy crates wholesale.
You really have to try these clips for yourself–I was surprised at how well they stood the active toddler test.
Whether your kiddo has super-heavy thick tresses (like my curly girly) or fine, barely there newborn hair, through running, dancing, and climbing, Bugalug hair clips will stick with you.
