Make family game night even more exciting with Trivial Pursuit for the Nintendo Wii.
Play a video version of the classic game or try a new twist by playing in “Facts and Friends” mode. In this mode, there’s only one wedge available for each category, so it takes less time to play a whole game.
But the fun part is betting on your opponent’s ability to answer questions correctly. You can even steal a piece if you know the answer but your opponent doesn’t.
Questions are multiple choice, so this version isn’t as challenging as the board game. But some categories are more exciting in a videogame format. For example, the geography questions contain interactive maps, which adds to the challenge even for adults.
Although I wish the questions were shown in a bigger font, we had fun playing the game. If you are looking for a video game that is both family-friendly and educational, Wii Trivial Pursuit ($39.99) is a great choice.
