Did you know that approximately 950,000 women suffer from postpartum depression each year? Some research suggests possibly even more. Katherine Stone has made it her mission to educate the public on the mental illnesses that afflict pregnant women as well as support the mothers who are struggling with postpartum depression. Katherine is the founder and editor of Postpartum Progress, the leading blog on postpartum depression. She has also founded the non-profit Postpartum Progress Inc, a national nonprofit focused on vastly improving support for women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Katherine finds new ways to fight postpartum depression, and her newest endeavor launched on Tuesday:
Partnering with designer Helene Laure (whose fashions can be seen in Henri Bendel, Bloomingdale’s, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue), this line of cute baby onesies will truly give back: Helene’s company, Two Mice, A Bear and A Bunny LLC, will donate 10% of the profit to Postpartum Progress. WIth close to 1million women suffering from postpartum each year (and only 15% actually receiving professional help), these proceeds will work to helping new mothers get the resources they need.

Hand-drawn characters, including Mr. Bear, Lily the Bunny and twins Cinnamon and Ginger Mouse will be showcased on the outfits. The onesies are made from a light cotton jersey, so they are very soft and comfortable Sizes range from 0-9 months, with special sizing for premies and newborns up to 7 pounds!
