Zooming off to the most untouched parts of the earth in a romantically zebra-striped, fixed-wing prop plane sounds like my wildest vacation dreams. Now, it is part of my children’s daily play with the brand new Schleich Airplane…

Enter the Dragon’s Lair
If your children dream of dragons, then the Playmobil Dragon Land set will top their lists this holiday season.
Playmobil understands the way children play. My husband and I still remember hours of rainy-day fun with our Playmobil sets (and our grateful parents do, too).
The Playmobil Dragon’s Land Great Dragon Castle set is another winner. With Playmobil’s characteristic attention to detail, there are plenty of nooks and crannies for kids to explore…

No Kid Hungry
We have the food to feed every child in America–but do we have the will?
Share Our Strength asks every one of us to join together in The Great American Dine Out to end childhood hunger. Almost 1 in 4 kids–nearly 17 million total–will struggle with hunger at one point in their childhood. They are not just statistics, though, they are our neighbors, our friends, and the future of our country. When children are hungry, they are more likely to be ill, miss school, have difficulty concentrating, and suffer from poor health later in life. All children deserve better than that.
Dawn Sandomeno of Party Blueprints Blog, in conjunction with Jacob’s Creek, invited several bloggers to Good Restaurant in Manhattan to learn more about the Great American Dine Out and how it helps to ensure that no kid goes hungry.

But I learn from my mistakes so last year my 14 month-old son wore pajamas. Now, lest you think I am some sort of Great-Pumpkin Hating Halloween Grinch, these weren’t just ANY pajamas. These were skeleton costume pajamas. Halloween costume pajamas are cute, comfortable, and…bonus…baby can keep wearing them through the entire fall and most of the winter!
Interview with Casanova from Project Runway
Oh, Casanova, how I will miss you and your antics! Casanova was one of the most inconsistent designers on this season of Project Runway. He veered wildly from looks that Michael Kors called “Dubai Pole Dancer” to looks the judges thought were more suited for a 70 year-old. Between the language barrier, a methodical style […]

Back-to-School Shopping at Marshalls
I bought most of my clothing for BlogHer at Marshalls and it is always one of my first stop for Holiday gifts for the adults on my list.
When Marshalls asked me if I would check out their back-to-school selection for my daughter, I drove right over to see what deals we could find…
