Bubbles are always a popular activity at my house and last weekend my two children and I made our own bubble wands. We spent about an hour putting together Arterro’s Bubble Wand Kit with my four year old daughter and six year old son…
No Kid Hungry
We have the food to feed every child in America–but do we have the will?
Share Our Strength asks every one of us to join together in The Great American Dine Out to end childhood hunger. Almost 1 in 4 kids–nearly 17 million total–will struggle with hunger at one point in their childhood. They are not just statistics, though, they are our neighbors, our friends, and the future of our country. When children are hungry, they are more likely to be ill, miss school, have difficulty concentrating, and suffer from poor health later in life. All children deserve better than that.
Dawn Sandomeno of Party Blueprints Blog, in conjunction with Jacob’s Creek, invited several bloggers to Good Restaurant in Manhattan to learn more about the Great American Dine Out and how it helps to ensure that no kid goes hungry.
Sew Sweet Sammies
Back-to-School does not have to mean back to old habits. If you’ve made a pledge to be more eco-friendly, check out the Sammie and Snackie Sacks from Sew Sweet. These are reusable bags for you and/or your little one to bring snacks and sandwiches to and from work and school…
Think Tink: Pixie Hollow
Our recent trip to the Disney Studios in Hollywood, CA brought more fun and magic than I could cram in to one post. So, here’s part two of our exciting adventure, filled with the latest Disney Fairies have to offer!
After screening Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue the day before and flying high off the wonderful facts and tidbits the creators and animators shared with us, I (foolishly) thought “there’s no way they can top this.”
I was absolutely, totally, wrong.
Folks, we took a trip to the magical land of Pixie Hollow.
The Most Comfortable Halloween Costumes for Babies and Toddlers
For my son’s first Halloween, I bought him a dragon costume with a hood. He hated it. I think I snapped one picture of him in it before I had to just change him into regular clothes.
But I learn from my mistakes so last year my 14 month-old son wore pajamas. Now, lest you think I am some sort of Great-Pumpkin Hating Halloween Grinch, these weren’t just ANY pajamas. These were skeleton costume pajamas. Halloween costume pajamas are cute, comfortable, and…bonus…baby can keep wearing them through the entire fall and most of the winter!
Interview with Casanova from Project Runway
Oh, Casanova, how I will miss you and your antics! Casanova was one of the most inconsistent designers on this season of Project Runway. He veered wildly from looks that Michael Kors called “Dubai Pole Dancer” to looks the judges thought were more suited for a 70 year-old. Between the language barrier, a methodical style […]
Britax B-Ready Stroller
If you are like most moms you have probably tried out several strollers before finding the one that works for you. You may even have multiple strollers to meet your needs for different adventures.
I have two children, ages (almost) 5 and 2, and another baby on the way. So, I have a single travel system, a double travel system, single umbrella, double umbrella, and a double jogger, which I rotate depending on where I am going and whether I have one or two kids with me.
Finally there is a stroller that meets our every need. The Britax B-Ready Stroller is highly versatile and easy to use. With its fourteen different combination options it truly is the one stroller that fits all.

Think Tink: Disney’s Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue
I was honored with the chance to preview Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, the third film in the Tinker Bell series set to hit stores September 21, 2010.
There we were, a group of grown women sitting in the Frank G. Wells theatre of the Disney studios in Hollywood, CA, relishing in the history of the building and imagining the Disney royalty that sat in the same room. See, this part of the studio lot is completely closed off to the public…let the magic begin!
Back-to-School Shopping at Marshalls
I bought most of my clothing for BlogHer at Marshalls and it is always one of my first stop for Holiday gifts for the adults on my list.
When Marshalls asked me if I would check out their back-to-school selection for my daughter, I drove right over to see what deals we could find…
