Finding a teether that works can seem elusive because your baby’s preference will change as he progresses through different teething stages. I spent a lot of money testing different teethers when I was a new mom only to find my baby didn’t like most of them. With my second, I was fortunate enough to receive a complete set of MAM Teethers.
Oink If You Love Peppa Pig
I wrote before about how much my boys love Peppa Pig on NIck Jr. Peppa Pig is a lovable, cheeky little pig from the UK, and the charming cartoon follows her family life and daily activities. Peppa arrived in the US last year, quickly becoming a hit with US audiences. And now her toys have arrived at Toys R Us!
Almost Naked Animals Volume I DVD Review
I had never heard about Cartoon Network’s quirky, animated series, Almost Naked Animals, until I received an inquiry asking if I’d like to review the first season, which will be available on DVD starting September 25, 2012. Almost Naked Animals features an ensemble cast of underwear-clad animals, based on the quirky designs of Noah Z. Jones. The pack is led by Howie, the good-spirited but hospitality-challenged doggy manager of Banana Cabana, a beach-front hotel. Since I’m a fan of many quirky cartoons (Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, Archer and more), it looked like something that would appeal to my odd sense of humor.
Switch and Save With Arm & Hammer Toothpaste
Finding the time to take good care of myself is hard to manage. As many moms know, personal care and beauty tend to fall to the bottom of the ever-growing “to-do” list. I make time to brush and floss twice daily, so I avoid cavities. But maintaining pearly white teeth feels like much more of […]

I recently received a Fellowes Saturn2 95 Laminator to review, and I’m using it to preserve my children’s artwork, memorable school assignments and newspaper clippings. Newspaper clippings are […]
What Stains Drive You Crazy?
My little boys are high energy; they zoom from one activity to the next without stopping for a breath. My older son loves soccer, which is a wonderful way to keep active, but terrible for keeping his clothes clean. Everything winds up with a grass or mud stain. The clothes that manage to escape the […]

On the Boardwalk: Rediscovering Atlantic City
My family spent the 4th of July in Atlantic City as guests of the Atlantic City Alliance. Before our trip, I wrote about how Atlantic City is working to transform its image, and I was not disappointed by the spectacular new Duality show at Boardwalk Hall.
