As a mom, there are so many things I look for when shopping for new appliances. I want them to clean themselves, be sleek and nice looking, easy to use and produce things that are not only fat free, but something that the entire family can enjoy.
I Spy: Eye Fi – A Better Way to Take and Wirelessly Share Photos
I always have my iPhone with me and I love the ability to instantly share, store, or print photos on Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, Shutterfly, Walmart, and even on my blog.
Sometimes for business, I need to be able to share immediately. However, my phone’s camera quality is poor. So, I bring along my camera but then I have to wait until I am somewhere I can transfer the pictures from my camera to my computer.
Eye-Fi sent me their Mobile X2 and I am just in love with this way to wirelessly transfer pictures from my camera to my smartphone or tablet.
M-Edge Leisure Jacket Review: Splashproof Kindle Case
I really love my Kindle but it’s not waterproof so I’ve been wary of taking it to the beach, pool, or bathtub – some of my favorite places to relax and read. Recently M-Edge sent me their Kindle Leisure Jacket: a padded case that completely encloses the Kindle while still allowing you to read and type through its clear vinyl screen. With this splashproof protection I’m much more comfortable taking out my Kindle around water!

If you’ve ever tried to watch Netflix on your iPad you know that the built-in speakers aren’t up to the task. The Acoustic Research ARS35i Rotating Docking System amps up the iPad’s audio output while offering several other clever features.
Hitachi Touro Mobile Pro backup
If your family is like mine, many of your family’s most treasured memories are probably saved on the computer you are using right now. The Hitachi Touro Pro is a convenient way to backup your computer’s files and your family’s digital memories!

Educational iPad Apps for Kids from WordWorld
While I am a great believer in “unplugged play” and limited screen-time for young children, I recognize that technology and even television shows can enhance learning. One of my favorite educational television shows is WordWorld, and I recently had a chance to test their new iPad apps for kids.
Learning to Read with LeapFrog TAG
LeapFrog makes learning products that blend innovative technology with time-tested teaching techniques for fun and educational results.
We are big fans of our LeapFrog TAG and LeapFrog just sent us a new way to enjoy it: two sets of early reader books that teach short and long vowel sounds.
My daughter knows her letters and the sounds they make and she is just about ready to make the jump from pre-literacy skills to literacy. Every day she grabs her TAG pen and reads through several of the new TAG “Learn to Read” books.
Wii MySims Party Game Review
MySims Party for the Nintendo Wii will keep your young kids entertained. Play individually or against up to 3 other players. Compete against each other as you play 50 different mini-games.
The arcade-style games, like many Wii games, are more physical than typical videogames. For example, one game involves outrunning a robot. Others include flipping bacon and extreme snowboarding.
