My little boys are high energy; they zoom from one activity to the next without stopping for a breath. My older son loves soccer, which is a wonderful way to keep active, but terrible for keeping his clothes clean. Everything winds up with a grass or mud stain. The clothes that manage to escape the […]

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Challenge: Cleaning Baby Toys
I was challenged to switch to Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and to test new ways of using this versatile product in my home. In a previous post, I discussed how intrigued I was by the possible uses of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in the nursery. I already used the product in my fridge to deodorize, but now I’ve tested it as a diaper pail freshener and stuffed animal cleaner.

I was challenged to use Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in a new way in the home. There are hundreds of uses, but I was most interested in testing baking soda in the nursery.
Holiday Clothing Care

Washing My Cares Away With Whirlpool
As a newlywed, I didn’t care much about my washer and dryer. Oh…how things have changed. In my pre-kid days, I wore lots of dry-clean only clothing to work. I did two or three loads of wash a week: sheets, towels/whites, and our clothing. Now as the mom to two kids, I do at least one load a day because, as every mom knows, babies make a lot of laundry.
